Humanitarian and Development Coordination Office (HDCO) announced on January 6 that it provided food assistance to residents of the A Nauk Yae IDP Camp in Pauktaw Township on January 4, 2025.
“On January 4, 2025, local authorities from the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government delivered food assistance to residents of the A Nauk Yae IDP Camp in Pauktaw Township, Rakhine State,” the statement said.
HDCO reported that initial support was provided to 140 households identified as being in the most urgent need of food among the camp’s residents, who have been displaced since 2012.
Additionally, HDCO noted that the regular provision of food assistance and basic healthcare services would significantly improve the well-being of these families.
To address these pressing needs, efforts are ongoing in coordination with humanitarian organizations and individuals to ensure sustainable assistance, the HDCO statement concluded.
