The Military Council carried out multiple drone airstrikes on Kyattain Village in Kyaukphyu Township, destroying a preaching hall and 45 homes.
At around 12 p.m. on March 12, drones launched from the Danyawaddy Naval Command in Kyaukphyu struck Kyattain Village twice, damaging the village monastery’s preaching hall and its perimeter wall.
Earlier, on March 11 at 10:30 a.m., the Military Council bombed the village, destroying four homes.
On March 9 at 1:30 p.m., two military drones dropped bombs on the village, setting fire to 14 homes.
Similarly, on the afternoon of March 7, an airstrike targeted Kyattain Village, destroying at least 27 homes.
Since suffering heavy losses in battles across the Arakan region and withdrawing from towns and villages, the Military Council has increasingly resorted to airstrikes, targeting civilians in both urban and rural areas.
